The National Library of Scotland’s maps website can be used to locate where our ancestors stayed, and can be used to show the parish boundaries for the counties of Moray & Nairn. The Scottish Association of Family History Societies promotes and encourages the study of Scottish family history, and provides a forum for the exchange of information among members. Moray Burial Ground Research Group was formed in 2003 with the task of surveying every burial ground in Moray, which also includes part of the old county of Banff Aberdeen & North East Scotland FHS exists to assist and promote the study of genealogy and family history based on the North-East corner of Scotland. Highland FHS promotes the study of genealogy, family history and related subjects in the Highlands of Scotland.
